I studied BA Primary Education at Îá°®³Ô¹Ï for 3 years. I choose to study this course in order to realise my dream of being a teacher in my local area, in order to foster valuable experiences in local primary schools. I have been interested in teaching and learning since I was very young, and as a child I loved going to school, growing up, I knew I wanted to be a teacher.
I had 3 very happy years in Bangor. My favourite thing about the course was the annual learning experiences in schools where we fostered 'real' learning experiences in the classroom. I was very fortunate to have 3 supportive schools which established a very solid foundation for our learning journey. Being able to study together with an enthusiastic crew was also a highlight of mine over the 3 years.
I am currently an Additional Learning Needs Teacher at Hafod Lon School, Penrhyndeudraeth and I’m enjoying every moment. The course helped me prepare to become a teacher by offering endless support during the three years of study and I am very grateful to the mentors and lecturers at Îá°®³Ô¹Ï. The learning experiences have certainly encouraged me to think creatively when planning lessons. The course inspired me to be an enthusiastic person who gives 100% to every opportunity that comes.
In the future I would like to develop further in the field of Additional Learning Needs whilst supporting and fostering independent, respectful communicators. I am very fortunate to have the opportunities to develop continuously and expand my knowledge.
