Catrin's World Championship success
Catrin competing in Uzbekistan recently.吾爱吃瓜 student and Bangorian Catrin Jones has come Fourth in the World Junior Weightlifting Championships held in Uzbekistan recently.
Having competed as a member of Team Wales at the recent Commonwealth Games, Catrin has also recently been awarded 吾爱吃瓜鈥檚 highest sporting accolade, the Llew Rees Memorial Prize.
Catrin鈥檚 father and trainer David Jones, Fitness Manager at the University鈥檚 Canolfan Brailsford said of Catrin鈥檚 recent competition success:

The first year psychology student is making her mark in the sporting world- and was also named the 鈥楥arwyn James Young Welsh Sportswoman of the Year鈥� at the BBC鈥檚 2017 Wales Sport Awards.
